Beginners Swim Lessons
While you may be hesitant to enroll your child in swim lessons before they’re able to walk, there are so many benefits to learning to swim, swimming instruction and baby aquatics.
For starters, Aquafin swimming lessons can reduce the risk of accidental childhood drowning. Since drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children under 4, it makes sense to provide opportunities for your child to learn to swim.
Tadpole
Parent and child work together to develop the foundational skills crucial for learning to swim and promote safety in the water.
The Tadpole level at Aquafin is designed to be the best possible introduction to the water for your baby. With parent/carers as the co-teacher in the pool, in a small friendly group of like-minded parents, your baby will learn through a structured lesson to develop safety, confidence and coordination in the water.
Duckling
Our Duckling level is a well-rounded lesson plan with an emphasis on developing the child’s body position in the water and their motor skills. Children are also taught crucial survival skills to submerge themselves and initiate independent movements.
